PATECCO GmbH processes your personal data in accordance with the applicable legal provisions. Below, we inform you about the type, scope, purposes, and legal bases of the processing of your personal data.

Data collection and logging on our website

For technical reasons, your internet browser automatically transmits data to our web server when you access our website. This includes, among other things, the date and time of access, the URL of the referring website, retrieved files, the amount of data transferred, your browser type and version, the operating system used, and your IP address. The collected data is evaluated to detect attacks, defend against attacks, and for statistical purposes, and is deleted once it is no longer required.

Deletion
Collected data is deleted automatically after the purpose has been fulfilled. IP addresses are automatically deleted after seven days. For the detection and analysis of attacks, IP addresses are stored until legal claims have been enforced or defended.

Initiation of business relationships and existing customer data

For the initiation and execution of business relationships with our customers and business partners, as well as for the legally required documentation of our business activities, we collect and store personal data.

Deletion
The collected personal data is deleted once it is no longer necessary or after expiration of the statutory retention and documentation obligations applicable to us.

If processing is based on consent under data protection law, we delete the personal data after withdrawal of the granted consent.

PATECCO GmbH maintains a company account on Facebook for marketing and advertising purposes and to provide an opportunity to contact and communicate with interested parties via this channel. From a data protection perspective, the processing of personal data is carried out under joint responsibility (cf. Art. 26 GDPR).

Data deletion

Use of the contact form / request for consultation

When you complete the contact form or click the button, the personal data you provide will be transmitted to our internal specialist team so that one of our employees can contact you. The data will be used exclusively for the agreed purpose.

Transfers to third countries

Where we transfer personal data to third countries, this is done in accordance with Articles 45 or 46 GDPR. If we use selected processors based in third countries, we conclude agreements with all processors pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. In addition, we agree on the necessary EU standard contractual clauses or check in advance which other effective and formally recognized safeguards ensure the security of processing. In the case of using U.S. companies such as Microsoft as processors, we contractually agree that personal data will generally be processed within the European Union.

To enable the full functionality of our website and to make its use more convenient for you, we or our website operator use so-called cookies. Your rights as a data subject

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
You have the right to obtain information at any time about whether and which personal data relating to you is being processed by us.

Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data at any time. If we cannot demonstrate legitimate reasons or a legal obligation for continued processing and storage that would prevent deletion, we will delete your data without undue delay and inform you accordingly.

Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
You have the right to request restriction of processing of your personal data if one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 GDPR is met.

Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
In certain cases set out in Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or to request that this data be transmitted to another controller.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR. We will then no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds.

Withdrawal of consent
If you have given us consent under data protection law for the processing of personal data, you may withdraw this consent in whole or in part at any time with effect for the future. We will then no longer process the data for the withdrawn purpose.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority at any time, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
